The Danish Center for Ultrahigh Field NMR Spectroscopy is part of a new EU project - PANACEATo enable researchers from European academia and industry to extend innovative chemistry research, EU has investigated 5 mill Euro in PANACEA through its Horizon 2020 program. The PANACEA consortium aims to advance the use of solid-state NMR for chemistry. The Danish Center for Ultrahigh-Field NMR Spectroscopy takes part in the consortium and will provide trans-national access (TNA) to its spectrometers as well as contribute to the joint research activities (JRA) on data handling, sharing, and spectrum modelling. Although the Danish share of the PANACEA project is modest, the establishment of the PANACEA consortium will benefit all researchers in DANNMR, as other partners of PANACEA provide TNA, which we may use as Danish researchers. In addition, the developments made on data handling and sharing in the will be implemented in the Danish Center for Ultrahigh-Field NMR Spectroscopy for the benefit of all its external and internal users. DANSPEC is now DANNMRIn conjunction with the 38th danish NMR meeting in Nyborg, January 16-17 2017, the DANSPEC general assembly decided to change the name of DANSPEC to DANNMR. The new name has been adopted in the DANNMR logo and the homepage has been moved to www.dannmr.dk and is to be used from now on. At the general assembly, a workgroup was commisioned with the task of formalizing the statutes of DANNMR and start the process of streamlining access to the national facilities. |
